I have not been impressed with CY in a long time, and this proved no different. I just don’t feel energized by staying there. The lighting is dim, the services are basic, nothing to write home about. I decided to give it another try and the only thing I was impressed with was the staff’s prompt action to resolve a problem. I had requested a 1st floor room, and was given the only room left which was accessible. When I arrived in the room it was extremely cold, so I promptly went to the thermostat to increase the heat, but nothing happened. 30 minutes later, the mainenance person could not fix the problem so I called to request a different room. This on was on the 2nd floor and the front desk staff insisted on helping me bring my luggage up the stairs as well as gave me a free item from the market and bonus points. That was impressive, but overall the hotel itself was not.
